I’m sure you’re wondering how our specialists keep safety standards in mind when encapsulating. It’s of utmost importance to us, whether in your home or in our lab space, that we’re treating your placenta as gently and sterile as possible. How are some ways we go about this?
We use as much disposable equipment as possible
If we can throw it away and use it as single use, we do! Cutting boards, pokers, contact paper, gloves, aprons. Everything is just for you.
We use a 10% bleach solution
Before, during and after handling, all tools, surfaces, and items are handled with a bleach solution to decontaminate, clean, and keep the area sanitized.
We steam the placenta
Steaming brings the temperature of the placenta above that where bacteria can thrive and also maintains hormone and nutrient retention.
We dehydrate at a high temperature
Dehydrating is meant to be a slow, steady removal of moisture. It’s important during this time to keep the placenta from becoming a site for bacteria growth. To do this, we keep that temperature of the placenta higher than bacteria can thrive, and when it’s dehydrated, it is free of any moisture.
We transport or help you transport with care
Our transportation package ensures your placenta is safe and treated according to OSHA regulations and the World Health Organization standards for blood borne pathogens to ensure decontamination is a non factor.
Safe, trusted handling of your placenta by professionals is the sure way to have peace of mind when ingesting your capsules!
